Spraying for Ips Beetle on pinion pine, basically it is a small boring insect that bores under the bark of the trunk and branches quickly killing the tree. The best way to prevent this is to use a cover spray application three times a year starting around Memorial Day, then again around July 1st, and a final spray on September 1st.
