Q4® Turf Herbicide is a patented product containing four (4) active ingredients: Quinclorac + Sulfentrazone + 2,4-D+ Dicamba. A precision product, Q4 joins Gordon’s other fast-acting products in
the ProForm® line-up, SpeedZone® PowerZone® SpeedZone® Southern and Surge® herbicides. University data and cooperator tests have demonstrated consistently enhanced speed compared to other water
-based products in controlling labeled weeds. Like Surge, Q4 is ‘energized with sulfen-trazone’ for fast acting nutsedge suppression. And warm-weather broadleaf weeds will turn brown, dry up and blow away.
But Q4 also contains quinclorac, so users can control grassy weeds such as crabgrass and foxtail, which will turn ghostly pale prior to reddening and subsequent death. These two ingredients —
sulfentrazone and quinclorac — in combination create a synergistic activity which enhances crabgrass control. Adding precise ratios of 2,4-D and dicamba broadens the weed control spectrum and
adds systemic activity to the contact• Versatile post-emergent control of both grassy and broadleaf weeds• Yellow nutsedge suppression • Crabgrass and foxtail control • Wide window of application
for broadleaf weeds • Protox inhibitor activity for rapid desiccation and death of broadleaf weeds • Fast visual response • Highly selective on cool-season turf grasses • For use on bluegrass, fescues, perennial ryegrass and annual ryegrass • Rain-fast in 6 hours • Suitable for applications up to 90°F • Water-based formulation pbigordon.com
Q4 provides outstanding control of broadleaf weeds such as dandelion, clover, spurge, knotweed and plantain. Q4 has dramatically less discoloration on cool-season turf compared to MSMA. A
definite plus for lawn care and landscape managers is the enhanced speed of the protox inhibitor
When you use Q4, your clients will see fast results, usually within 24 to 48 hours thus reducing callbacks.
Q4 is highly selective on cool-season turf grasses. Species include bluegrasses, perennial and annual ryegrasses and fescues
Q4 has a CAUTION signal word, a good toxicological profile, is rain-fast in 6 hours and has a 4 week reseeding interval.
