Crawdads!......... They don't get along with pumps!

In this photo, We were working on.... Sprinkler System Check Up
We went to check the filter on this system and a few of these guys came out. Crawdads can be kind of frustrating. This system is nice that it has a Sontag pre-filter the water prior to the pump. In other systems, these guys will plug up a pump quick! Their shells tend to be just abrasive enough to get caught in the impellers.
